As we close out the year, we want to share that in November, we began working on the POCTEFA project EDIT (Ecodigital Industrial Transformation).
The EDIT project, led by Bidasoa Activa – Bidasoa Bizirik, aims to assist companies, particularly SMEs, by providing them with the essential tools needed for their transformation process. The primary goal is to implement the Digital Product Passport (PDP), which will help these companies comply with regulations, enhance their competitiveness in the region, and strengthen cross-border value chains.
Over the next three years (2024-2026), the project will analyze the requirements set by the European Union for the implementation of the Digital Product Passport. This will include adapting these requirements to our local context and offering support and expert assistance to companies as they undergo their digital transformation.
Together with the Navarrese partners in the consortium, Cámara Navarra and Sakana Garapen Agentzia, we participate as experts in sustainability and circular economy, helping the project to identify the barriers and needs of Navarrese companies in their adaptation to the future implementation of the Digital Passport of the Product.
For more information about the PDP, we recommend watching the webinar we conducted last March (in spanish), where we explained the concept, reviewed its implementation status, discussed its implications, and highlighted various opportunities and relevant projects.
We will continue to keep you updated on the project’s progress and the implementation of the Digital Product Passport.
