We began to develop together with Nina Frissel-Thomas an ICP (In-Company Project) with the title «Implementation of a digital product passport in the electric vehicle batteries. Barriers and opportunities».
The project will carry out a review of the state of the art on the implementation of a digital product passport in the electric vehicle battery sector and value chain, analyzing legislative, sectoral and technological trends and identifying barriers and opportunities. related to:
- Development and implementation of the digital ecosystem
- Integration of information collected along the value chain into future product design and development processes
- Integration of the information collected to improve waste management systems at the end of life (EoL, End of Life) of batteries and CRM’s (Critical Raw Materials)
- Maintain CRM in production systems
